My creative praxis is deeply grounded in my work within theater.
I am trained as a dancer and actor and I have 30+ years of experience in performing, directing & choreographing for stage and screen.
I have worked in most genres:
Dance, Performance, Textbased, Installation, Art+Dancefilms, Musical and Musictheatre. Work for kids, young people and grownups. Familyfriendly and avantgarde.
I have toured, performed and presented/represented artistic work in 31 countries, from Canada to Australia, Russia to Marocco, The Middle East to India and Japan...and most of Europe.
One the most memorable experiences was performing in the Syrian desert in the ruins of an old Roman amfitheatre in Palmyra (before the war).
I have worked for The Danish Arts Council, The Nordic Cultural Foundation, been at the board of Dansehallerne and Danish Actors Association.
My work has been awarded with Aarets Reumert (National Danish Theatre Award) and Teaterkatten - Director of the Year (given by the Association of Danish Theatre Journalists) and finally I have been awarded several grants from the Danish Arts Council to support my continued work in the arts.
